A true modern day Jhansi Rani, she is the first Indian woman to take the National flag all along the way from Kanyakumari to Kashmir on a Bullet motor bike covering 5200 km in 25 days after the revocation of article 370, reiterating the slogan – “One Country, One flag, One Law. With life remaining at standstill in the entire Kashmir valley due to the enforced lockdown and virtual shutdown, amidst the uneasy calm, total communication blackout, turbulent emotions at fray , Ms.Rajalaxmi Manda bravely crossed many hurdles in this tense situation, ultimately met the governor of Kashmir and patriotically handed over the National flag . She honestly felt that after 70 years of Independence, August 15, 2019 was the Day of True Independence completed by the unfurling of a single Indian flag for the first time in the history of Kashmir and India. Throughout her travel she kindled the peoples spirit and thinking towards National unity with her slogans and speech.
